Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese

This Crock pot Macaroni and Cheese recipe it is easy to prepare. If your family have a late afternoon activities this crock pot macaroni and cheese is the perfect dinner for those nights.

Ingredients

8 ounces elbow macaroni

4 cups(16 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar Cheese

1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk

1 1/2 cups milk

2 egg, beaten

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Boil the macaroni in 2 quart saucepan for 6 minutes or until tender and drained. Place the cooked macaroni in crock pot that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.

Add the remaining ingredients, all except 1 cup of the cheese, mix well.

Sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of cheese and then cover and cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hours or until the mixture is firm and golden around the edges.

Do not remove the cover or stir until it has finished cooking.

Italian Macaroni with Tomatoes

Ingredients
250 grams Macaroni
1 can/400g diced tomatoes
30 grams butter
1 large size onion, diced
one handful basil leaves
pepper
salt
3 tbs Parmesan,grated
3 tbs Cheddar, grated

Directions

Fry diced onion slightly in butter until brown and add a puree of four big cooked tomatoes. Stir occasionally.

Boil water in the pot and cook macaroni according to directions on the packet or until tender. Drain it and put it back in the pot.

Then add the tomato puree, basil leaves and grated Parmesan and Cheddar mixed, seasoning with salt and pepper and cook gently for a quarter of an hour before serving.

You can change macaroni with vermicelli, spaghetti, or any other Italian paste.
