
Quick Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients :
Plain Dessert Chocolate : 100g / 4oz
Butter or Margarine : 100g / 4oz
Icing Sugar : 450g / 1lb
Milk : 45ml / 3tbs
Cooking Method :
1. Place the butter, icing sugar, chocolate and milk in a saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes or until the chocolate has melted.
2. Beat vigorously with wooden spoon until smooth.
3. Pour into a 20.5 x 15 cm (8 x 6 inch) rectangular container. Using a sharp knife mark lightly into squares. Leave in the refrigerator for 1 - 2 hours until set. Serve cut into squares.
Chocolate Fudge Sauce

A delighfully indulgent chocolate sauce for ice cream, profiteroles and other desserts that’s quick and easy to make.
Ingredients :
Single Cream : 75ml / 5tbsp
Cocoa Powder : 25g / 1oz
Caster Sugar : 125g / 4oz
Golden Syrup : 175g / 6oz
Butter or Margarine : 25g / 1oz
Vanilla Flavouring : 2.5ml / 1/2tsp
Salt : A Pinch
Cooking Method :
1. Put all the ingredients except the vanilla flavouring into a saucepan and stir together well.
2. Bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the ingredients are piping hot.
3. Stir the vanilla flavouring into the sauce and allow it to cool slightly before serving.
