Molten Chocolate Cake

This Molten Chocolate Cake is absolutely heavenly, perfect for your finale romantic dinner.

Ingredients

113 grams best dark chocolate
113 grams unsalted butter
1 cup icing sugar
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
6 tbsp. flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 custard cups

Directions

Preheat oven to 425°F.
Greased custard cups . Place on baking sheet.
Melt the chocolate and butter together. Cool slightly.Stir in sugar until well blended. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, whisk together the yolks and eggs then mix in the icing sugar and vanilla extract. Whisk this into the chocolate mixture then whisk in the flour. Divide batter among prepared custard cups.
Bake for 13 minutes or until sides are firm but centers are soft. Let stand 1 min. Carefully run small knife around cakes to loosen. Invert cakes onto dessert dishes. Serve immediately with whipped double cream or vanilla ice-cream.

Chinese Fried Rice

Ingredients

100 grams barbecued chicken
100 grams frozen peas
100 grams bean sprouts
100 grams carrots, finely diced
70 grams green onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp vegetable oil
2 eggs; lightly beaten
1 tsp salt
2 cup long grain rice

Directions

Cook the rice in a rice cooker according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Transfer the steamed rice to a baking sheet to cool to room temperature.

Heat 1 tablespoons of vegetable oil into a wok or dry skillet over medium to high heat. Add the egg and stir with a fork for about 30 seconds or until just cooked. Remove the egg from the wok and allow to cool.

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil into a wok or dry skillet over medium to high heat. Add the carrots to the wok and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add the peas and bean sprouts and stir fry for 1 minutes.

Add the cooled rice and stir fry for 2 minutes or until heated through. Add chicken and eggs and stir-fry for about 2 minutes. Stir in ¾ of the green onions. Pour in soy sauce, stir-fry for another minute. Season with salt and pepper. Serves 4.
